Lori McMurren has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and residential interior design. She has earned a reputation for problem solving and for creating distinctive and functional interiors regardless of the budget.
 
For more than 15 years, as National Director of Design for a Houston Based company, she worked on hundreds of healthcare and commercial projects. Budget and quality have always been key priorities. "I have found that no matter the resources of the client, they want to get the very most for their dollar. I approach every project as though I were going to pay the bills."
 
Her designs have been honored by Interior Design and featured in many other publications. She has appeared monthly on live radio, covering a variety of interior design topics and answers emails and telephone questions.

"I think the most valuable tool I have at my disposal is the individual client. Even those who come to me and tell me that they don't know what they like, give me tremendous direction. I get to know my clients; I watch what they react to and what they find delight in. I use all of the information I gather from clients to design their home, not a version of something I want to see. I guild them, inform them and do the leg work, I come up with new ways to approach familiar rooms and design ideas that are fresh. I may push them a bit, but at the end of the project, my clients can point to their home and say "this is just what I had hoped it would be like!"
